Privacy Policy

Summary

Keepfold is built to work entirely on your iPhone. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server of any kind. There is nothing to send anywhere, so Keepfold does not collect any information from you or about you.

What Keepfold stores, and where

Everything you enter into Keepfold — the text of a moment, the date, how it felt, an optional tag, and any photos you attach — is saved only inside the app's own storage on your device. This includes a small local file that holds your moments and a few on-device settings such as whether you have finished the welcome screens.

None of this information ever leaves your iPhone. Keepfold has no network code, no account system, and no way to transmit your moments anywhere, even if you wanted it to.

Photos

When you attach a photo to a moment, you choose it through the system photo picker, which does not give Keepfold access to your photo library — only to the specific image you select. That image is then re-saved inside the app's own storage, with its location and other metadata removed in the process. The original stays in your Photos app; Keepfold only keeps its own private copy.

No accounts, no sharing, no advertising

Keepfold does not ask you to create an account or sign in. It does not include advertising, and it does not share, sell, or transfer any information, because no information ever leaves the device. The only way content leaves Keepfold is if you deliberately choose to export a month's collage as an image and share it yourself, using the iPhone's own share sheet.

Removing your data

You are always in control of what Keepfold keeps. Inside the app, the Shelf tab offers ways to remove all photos, empty a single month, or erase everything, each with a confirmation step. Deleting the app from your iPhone also removes everything Keepfold has stored.

Audience

Keepfold does not collect any information from any user, and is suitable for a general audience.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
